Lordy, it's hard to believe that I was that young once. My friend Robert on the left is now retired with a houseboat on Lake Conroe. I think Bob (right) still lives in Magnolia, Ark., where we all grew up. I think the three of us were going through a "beatnik" stage. Some of you may remember what that means.
